This session of the COVID Wellness Series focuses on our thought processes in reaction to external events. Anger will be discussed with the goal in mind to change our thoughts to those that are more helpful, and to react to our anger in a healthier way. Coping mechanisms will be discussed, as well as grounding techniques for when we are in the moment. Finally, multiple types of distorted thinking will be defined and how they impact our view of the world in either a more positive or negative way. Challenging these thoughts will be described for future practice!

Hello everyone! Today's video is all about healthy eating, living well, and sleep. We will address dieting and the toxicity of diet culture. Tips for a more balanced way of eating are provided. Overall physical health and tricks for keeping exercise fun and different are also shared! Finally, the importance of sleep hygiene is defined. How to get a good night's sleep is discussed at length. I hope that this brings you all closer to achieving personal goals in a more sustainable, fun way.
